Don't Like wrighting about these but here it goes

It is a very sad story but if we trace the steps to the beginning it was her fault. No one ever forced the girl to send those pictures. It wouldn't be wrong to say that the ex boyfriend was a complete #$%&^ by doing that to the girl that used to love him, but I beleive that the girl should have thought more before sending the pictures.

The parents shouldn't try to sue the school. The only thing the school can do is expel the ex boyfriend who is the one that started the madness. Other than that there is no one else to blame or other actions to take because it would probably include all the boys from that high school. The parents say that the school used have taken the issue more seriously and apply tougher rules but what would it change all the students had seen the picture. I actually think its sad, parents trying to make money out of their daughters death.

Video

Wow I believe this is the best project we will do in all year. I would like to edit a kite boarding video of me but since there is no wind I will have to think of something else. The first thing that pops to my head is a wake boarding video. The basic things that I would like to learn how to edit on it are the music, slow motion, and maybe some color changing visuals that go with the music or something like that. I beleive that I will get either Diego or Ruslan to shoot the video cause I always go wakeboarding with either of them.

Facebook new rules and involvement with school

I would say the new implementations are good because the less we know about each other the better. I would say they were created for pure security and because some people were not happy with how easy gossip was spreading because of facebook. There is no reason for them no to be successful because the modifications were obviously done according to the necessity of the majority of the users. I believe this won´t affect the way I use facebook cause I limit my use of it to only the basics (looking at pictures and connecting with old friends).

Posting quotes or videos on facebook without the concern of others should be no problem as long as people know how to set the privacy settings on what they are posting and if someone does something completely inappropriate it should be handled with fists. The school should not enter our facebook nor should we post anything that in any way could involve the school in a serious way. Again the less the school knows about their students the better. If the school finds out about any situation like these depending on the content of what they found the students attention must be called but I can´t think of any case that a student should receive a severe punishment.

Only being here since the ninth grade I didn't really do much in computers with Mr Chris. I only had him during one year and there isn't much I can remember about that class but I'll do my best. The only thing I can think of from the class was using excel. What I can get back from my memory and this project is that it was hard, we had to plog in equations, select rows to which we wanted the equations to apply and stuff like that.

The only way I can think of for teachers to apply technology is to save paper. Instead of printing out so many sheets they should send most of those through email. The teacher that best knows how to use technology is Mr. Whitten. In history and economics class we always used the smart board. What I enjoyed about this was that the letter was clear and easy to read and any further notes that he wanted to add he could do it with either the electical marker (which are better for the enviorment) or with the computer. In economics class it was intresting cause when we were looking at the supply and demand table each student could go up to the board and easily move the lines. Plus all the notes were available for us to study in the public folder.

I think that the amount of technology we use is adecuate because you can't always count on it working 100%. I'm not even a fan of taking notes in lap top because although its faster I tend to learn it faster and better when I write it down myself. Hope the info works.

Creating a Flash Animation with a Video

The first thing we did was film a 15 second video of our self doing something. I started by pretending to spin a ball on my finger, throwing it up, catch it with my arms extended to the sides and go up and down a couple of times, I then threw it back up and used my knees and chest to play with it and then kicked the ball away. The first step, once in flash, was doing the margins of my body movement which as quite easy (remember to close all margins so when you have to fill it up you don't have to go back to each margin) Adding the ball was also easy because you just had to place it where you wanted it and create a motion tween. I deleted the video layer and added a changing color background. I needed some help to make the ball enter from the upper left corner and the managed to make it leave through the upper right corner. The video was submitted to moodle and voila.

Creating a Flash Animation

In our computer class we recently created a flash animation. I have to say it took me a long time because it was the first time using the program. My first difficulty turned out to be while creating the motion paths. Since I was creating a man that was supposition to be joggling I did long motion paths and this confused the computer, after setting everything up correctly the ball I created failed to move along the path I had set for it. The only solution I was able to find for this was creating shorter motion paths. I had to get help from Ruslan in order to create the moving arms which required a long process. The teacher helped me to add the correct motion to the letters that show up at the end. Although my final product was a little short I found it was correctly compared to the idea I had in my head. If I were to continue my animation I would follow one of the balls that I was joggling into the next screen and make it crash into something causing a fire in which people are sitting around cooking.

The Family Tree

The event I'm about to describe doesn't include everyone in my family, but it certainly was something significant for my childhood. Every summer my two sister my mother her sister and her two sons went to Tuxpan, Veracruz. We went there because my mom's brother lived their in a little house with his wife and three dogs. We visited him because when my mom was younger she went with her siblings to visit their father at this same place. There isn't much to do there except swim in the pool and go to the beach. The beach there is next to an electric plant so the water is warm, but at least there's no one around. They used to have a ranch with cows and sometime we would go milk them in the morning and drink some fresh chocolate straight from the cow's teet. We would camp out on my uncle garden because the house was to small to fit us all in. We stopped going to Tuxpan because my mom and her siblings sold the ranch, but I definitely miss going and hope to visit again.

Tree Picking

The tree I first thought of was the palm tree cause it's my favorite. I looked up some pictures and noticed that it would be no good because it has no branches. Instead of just getting a picture from the internet I imagined it would be better to use a picture from a tree in my house. I like this tree cause it's kinda big and we look at it every time we eat cause it's right in front of the table. So I believe that this is the right tree because of its size and sentimental value.(Picture will be uploaded soon)

Social Media Revolution

The statistical data showing how fast the social media has been growing blew my mind away. Never in the past would they have imagined getting so many people together in something as remote as a social network. The net is probably the largest place from which we can learn stuff there's not one single piece of writing that you can't find, and yet the most visited sites are pornographic ones. I imagine that if people in the past knew how many things we can have at the stretch of our hand they would think that the world would be such a better place and yet I don't think it is. We humans have found a way to take this technology and not exploit it in the areas that real profit can be gained from.
It has always seemed more logical that a teacher facing the student in person would be able to teach him more than a computer program would, but things are beginning to change and according to studies the computers are now beating the teachers. This idea makes the question of computers being more intelligent than humans pop to my head. Everyday that passes makes me reflect and actually believe that the ideas like: I, robot, The Matrix, Surrogates and more are actually very possible.
You-tube, what an amazing web page it's actually the closest thing to ending boredom in the world. Lately I have been accesing the page more and more it seems better to look for information by someone telling and explaining it to you rather than reading it, and of course for the sports, funny and musical videos. Through you-tube I was able to study for my AP economics exam and I actually found it very helpful. Another page that I have been using a lot is Wikipedia I have actually always found what I was looking for and for me it has been easy to understand explanations, and it's very useful to have everything in categories. News has never traveled so fast before and the use of newspaper is becoming less popular everyday.

Assignment #1

I don't really have any experiences with blogs because although I have read many while surfing the web I had never done one or used one for something else other than quick research information. This block was created by me during my computers class using my email. Adding others blog list was easy as pie because we used facebook to pass the links between every student in the class and then just used the copy paste application to transfer the information from one web page to the other. I haven't given much time to think for what am I going to use my blog but some quick ideas that come to mind are: writing down random thoughts, posting links to interesting things I find (photos, information) and it would also be good to post about new songs,videos or even world wide news.

Number One

In a world full lies and danger we sometimes strive to find truth and happiness, things that in the end are just chemicals in our brain that with enough mental power you could be able to control.
